Would You Like To Help Me?

Want to know how you can help me? There's a few ways.

Firstly, when you're wandering over the site, keep an eye out for mistakes, and dead links and email them, and any other comments to suggestions@rpgplug.co.uk I have a few kind people who do betachecking of updates before they go up, but even so it's pretty much guaranteed that mistakes will get through.

Secondly, if you are an experianced gamer, go over to "What are these Worlds?" and cast your eye over the summaries. If you can do better, then send me a summary to the suggestions address and I'll put it up. Anyone who does do that will get a page of their own in Acknowledgements to plug their own games. (hey, it ain't much but its somethin'). In addition, if you know of a fandom that's big enough to deserve its own list, tell me, and then something can be done about it. (What's big enough? Well, if you know five games that are running (not know OF, I don't mean just looking through YahooGroups. I mean, you know people who play on them, or play on them yourself) that's generally a sign there's a lot more you don't know of)

Thirdly, pretty simple - tell your friends about us! I know gamers tend to know other gamers, who in turn know others.. so pass the word on that we exist! Word of mouth is the most effective form of advertising there is. Also, if you own a site yourself, you can be helpful and nice, and either give us a link or be more generous still and pick up the banner and put it up.

And fourthly, money. Nasty stuff, but domain names and server space don't come free, and heh, I'm a student dontcha know. So, you can either take advantage of the nice ads I have up, or if you're feeling really generous you can use PayPal And you don't even hafta pay a penny, just sign up and say I recommended you and I get a nice 5 dollar referral bonus (5 dollars doesn't sound like very much only when you actually have five dollars.. heh). It's actually a very useful thing to sign up for if you do buy stuff online - it's a nice secure way to pay for small items without letting your credit card details loose for all and sundry.

Finally, if you're a company and think this site has potential, there's one very big way you can help. Send a mail to adverts@rpgplug.co.uk and we'll arrange for you to buy advertising space. Try it, even if you're just a little company starting up - trust me, we'll be able to work out a deal that suits everyone.

Thanks for your help.
